Well done everyone! Team GB is looking pretty nifty right now!
Also Jo Jackson’s 1.58.32 in the 200m free is very heartening - it looks like she’s finally working back towards her 2009 form after all the asthma beef she’s had (dudes, her RIB POPPED OUT during a race because she was breathing so hard, and she still managed to finish - super hardcore but ouch x a million). Look how happy she is!
Also a shout-out to 15-year-old Siobhan-Marie O’Connor, who swam a 2.14 in the 200m IM untapered - she had been aiming for European Juniors next month but perhaps she’ll swap it for World Championships instead!
*in a heat swim! Fran didn’t bother with the final, having already qualified for Shanghai in March.
**During her interview Jemma seemed more interested in the fact that her sister got through X Factor auditions earlier that day! Priorities…
***equal with Michael Phelps. I bet Chris wishes he’d grown his fingernails a bit there…
