Synchro swimmers don’t get nearly enough props for all the hard work they have to put in. I can barely hold my breath long enough to do a tumble turn but these guys are basically doing a 4-minute dance routine upside down and underwater. Massive respect!
Also they wear batshit outfits, like Spain’s ‘house of horrors’ theme above. They came second to Russia at the LEN Cup in Sheffield yesterday but anyone who dresses up as a skeleton for a sporting competition is a true winner in my eyes. Commonweath silver medallists Jenna Randall and Olivia Allison came 5th in the duet today - well done girls!
